KLSA interns Noelle and Angelina are starting to complete Love Your Lake (LYL) shoreline assessments on Clear Lake this summer!
The LYL program developed by Watersheds Canada & the Canadian Wildlife Federation is here to help landowners take voluntary actions to improve their shoreline health. Every shoreline on Clear Lake will be assessed. Property owners will receive a free custom report on the status of their shoreline’s health, with recommendations on how to help the lake ecosystem thrive!
Noelle and Angelina are undergraduate students majoring in Conservation Biology at Trent University. They are both very excited to start getting on the water this summer! If you or anyone you know owns a boat and is interested in volunteering to boat Noelle and Angelina around, please email kim.ong@klsa.info for details.
